彦莉（Zhāng lǎo shī）

She was very attentive to my needs and quickly worked to fix areas I needed help in without fail. She is able to help students learn a variety of new words in a short amount of time, and always checks in to make sure they’re following along.

Really have enjoyed my classes with 彦莉. Appreciate she speaks chinese almost the whole time and uses chinese to explain words I don't understand

I'm having a blast. Teacher is cool, supportive and patient. She speaks Chinese the whole time, which is great to improve listening.

Making great progress in a short time with 张老师 and lots of independent study. My vocab and listening comprehension is still worlds ahead of my speaking but I think she is helping a-lot with this by being very patient and accommodating. I remain very nervous to speak but I feel that nervousness decreases with each lesson. 张老师 speaks at the perfect level where I can understand almost all of her Chinese speech. Generally explains meanings of new words in Chinese rather than English which is huge. She also keeps lessons personally relevant by focusing in on things I have shown interest in. She usually gives lots of new vocabulary to review between sessions.

最棒的中文老师！She is the most helpful if you want to learn Chinese. I was surprised about how well the class went. Zhang teacher cared about the lesson and provided me with so much help to learn Chinese. It's the best class. I am looking forward to more lessons!
