Great teacher all around! She has been teaching me Russian for around 6 months now, her lessons are very personalized, and she has a very articulate understanding of the language. She also explains things in very easy-to-digest ways.

Amazing lesson with Ekaterina as always. I believe she's one of the best tutors on italki, if not the best, and probably outside of italki as well. It's amazing that she can explain things well in English when I have difficulty understanding a concept. She explains them so well in English that sometimes I think she's the native English speaker and not me! I'm shocked she doesn't have tons more bookings for English. Katya is very understanding and loyal to her students! I had to take a longer break than anticipated from my studies and we picked up where we left off and adapted to a new regimen.

She is the best, her lessons really get you thinking in Russian about topics you might not have experience talking about. She is kind with her corrections and makes the whole experience easy especially if you get anxious when speaking in your target language.

I just had my second lesson with Katya. I didn’t know any Russian before starting with her, and I can already do greetings and make simple sentences. Katya is very kind and patient and has a tremendous gift for explaining Russian and making it easy to understand. Her quirky sense of humor also makes the lessons fun and interesting.
