Hana

Hana sensei is a skillful and experienced teacher that loves her job and one of the coolest people I have met. Her grammar lessons helped me pass the JLPT2 ahead of my target date. How? - She picked a notebook that was perfect for me. All of its 100+ grammar points come with audio example sentences. Ideal for someone with a good ear memory and little time to study - Her presentation document follows the textbook but adds a lot of useful information: explanations on obscure points, comparisons with other expressions, precisions on usage (formal/informal, ...) and funny illustrations - For each grammar point, I had to read the example sentences out loud one by one (useful for the reading practice). I also had to invent one example sentence. When I was too lazy and came up with a beginner-level sentence, she would challenge me, gently but firmly, to do better Of course I did the homework too, but if I passed that exam, it's in no small part thanks to Hana Sensei's guidance. Merci Madame !

Hana sense is no doubt the best Japanese teacher not only on italki and in the universe‼️Hana sensei is well organized, stays focused throughout the lesson👩‍🏫. She makes sure I speak Japanese correctly and explained grammar very detailed🥳. I have been taking lessons with Hana先生 for about 8 months now. Right from the first lesson, she was able to get me to start speaking in Japanese despite my confidence level at the time. Through Hana先生’s instruction, I believe that my Japanese speaking skills have been steadily improving. Now, even difficult to construct sentences are no longer a problem! On some lessons, Hana先生 will also share very interesting topics regarding Japanese traditions and holidays. I have enjoyed taking lessons with Hana先生 so much that our lesson times have started from 30 minutes then to 60 minutes and now to 90 minutes. With our longer lesson times, we've had the luxury to talk about recent events and typically enjoy a nice chat prior to returning to the textbook lesson topic. The free talk we have is invaluable as I'm able to express myself in Japanese and also we're able to discuss topics that I find interesting. This makes the lesson so enjoyable that time will just fly by. Thank you so much Hana先生!

Hana's lessons are so enjoyable. We did a lot of free talk today, and her questions were at a level where I could respond with the grammar I had previously learned. She is so patient and helpful when conversing that time flew by. It was a lot of fun! Then we reviewed the previously learned grammar and she was so patient and helpful too! Lessons are always enjoyable with Hana and I look forward to our lessons every week! Thank you!

Classes with Hana are so fun! Her energy is always high; I learn so much in each lesson. Today, we reviewed the homework, and she ensured I knew the material before going on to the new grammar point. We then practiced the grammar, and she sent me more homework so I could continue solidifying my knowledge! Thank you so much :)!
