I'm quite shy and a lot of times even in my native language English I get nervous and can't think of things to say but Britney is so patient and her comforting personality makes it easy to feel relaxed. She really tries to challenge and encourage me in speaking Tagalog so I feel I'm progressing a lot just two lessons in!

Today’s lesson was fun and challenging. We are starting to pickup the pace with new vocabulary, markers, and phrases and figuring out how they connect was a bit challenging for me. But despite the challenges, Guro Brit’s role playing made me feel at ease and her feedback allows me to learn from my mistakes. She provided me with homework and that’s always crucial for my learning! Guro Brit’s enthusiasm and energy keeps me motivated to keep studying!

An enjoyable part of my day! Even after a long day at work, I look forward to having class with Britney. She is so positive and encouraging, I can't help but feel uplifted and motivated when I leave her class. This is my tenth class with Britney and already I am seeing results at home. I am speaking more and more with my Filipina mother everyday and I look forward to showing off what I've learned with my Filipino friends and coworkers each day. Britney not only helps me practice my grammar and pronunciation, what I enjoy most is that it feels like our Tagalog conversations are becoming more relaxed and natural. Maraming salamat po Britney for your patience and kindness in helping me learn wikang Pilipino!

Teacher Britney’s energetic and playful personality keeps me enthusiastic and excited to keep learning. Today’s lesson she focused on more scenarios and the playful interaction makes learning more fun because it takes the pressure off and makes me feel at ease when topics get challenging. Teacher’s knowledge and expertise along with her wonderful personality makes learning absolutely fun and rewarding!

Short review on previous lessons always helps me retain information and today’s class started with reviewing so it was very helpful. Role playing was an essential part of this lesson as it allowed me to learn to speak and understand while in a conversation scenario. Role playing is a fun but important way to learn, and today’s lesson was enjoyable and rewarding.
