Ivana Ciric
Ten years of teaching on Italki, 17 years of teaching at school. More than 250 happy students here. Hello everybody. My name is Ivana. I am from Serbia. I know it might be "not so much attractive" to hear that someone is from Serbia or another Balkan country but the best thing about this is that I can teach you serbian, croatian, bosnian, montenegrian:-). I would say these languages are all the same with small regional differences and it is a kind of political issue that we all call it differently. I know that many people prefer native speakers, but it can sometimes be tricky. The native speakers are good teachers only if they are foreign langauge teachers, believe me. I also teach latin and italian so I think I could be a good choice for you:-)

As a teacher, I’m patient, friendly, and flexible. I always adapt my lessons to each student's level, goals, and learning style. Whether you want to focus on grammar, conversation, pronunciation, or vocabulary, I will create a relaxed and supportive space where you can learn without pressure. I'm open to talking about a wide variety of topics — from everyday life to science, football, art, culture, and social media — so our lessons will always feel fresh and interesting. I believe that language learning should be practical and enjoyable. I use real-life examples, interactive conversation, and simple explanations to help you speak and understand with confidence.
