I have an MA degree in Applied linguistics - English and Japanese and I have been a teacher for more than 19 years teaching English, Japanese and my native languages - Bulgarian and Russian. I have also specialised in the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies.

Also being part of a french-japanese association, I met a lot of language learners, and being born trilingual I can see notice some things that monolingual natives may not notice. I am now a student in a language university in Japan and also studied one year in a French university in order to learn more about languages.

My professional experience before italki was focused mainly on exam preparation both in English (e.g. Cambridge, Trinity) and German (Goethe Institut, telc) and included - apart from the usual group and individual, intensive and regular courses - level-testing and organising mock exams.
