In this class, I will use a conversational approach to each lesson. We will use language that you want to learn and use with the goal of building your confidence in conversation, as well as improve your fluency, vocabulary, and pronunciation!

Cancellation policy: Because italki requires all teachers to sit in front of the computer on camera for the full length of the lesson, and also because the lesson time is blocked off without the possibility of another student being able to book it, I humbly request at least 1-2 hours notice if it is a family/personal emergency. Absences that are not emergencies or happen regularly without 24 hours of notice will be charged in full.

Topic may include: Current news events, interesting youtube videos or tv shows, daily conversation topics (ex: daily life, work, music, hobbies, life events, English slang)

Let's talk!! Conversational English

My teaching approach is altered to my students individual needs. I will allow as much engagement and participation from my students so they can practice and be confident in speaking English both formally and informally. This includes learning through grammer, spelling, listening, speaking, pronunciation or even writing. Our lessons can be structured, this all depends on the students needs. 

The lesson begins with a warmer where students introduce themselves and I basically try to involve them into the lesson by using catchy phrases, a quick activity or a game. Once I have their attention, we move onto what the lesson entails and what they will be learning during that lesson. Lesson material will be provided before or during the lesson if needed. 

We will be learning:

* Learning more advanced vocabulary.
* Tenses- past, present and future.
* Parts of speech.
* Figure of speech
* Sentence construction.

At the end of each lessons, we will have short feedback sessions where students highlight what they have learnt and they will get to ask questions.

General English Grammar for kids, teens, and adults of all levels!

Are you planning on taking the IELTS, TOEFL, the Duolingo Test,  Cambridge, or another English proficiency exam? 

We can work on whatever aspect of the test you need the most help with. We can do sample tests together or just practice the individual skills you need to improve.  

When we practice speaking, I will take notes and give you feedback on what you did well and what you can improve.

I offer a comprehensive suite of official lesson materials for students at A2 level and beyond via sites like Off2Class, TedEd and ESL Brains. These resources are meticulously designed to cover all key skill areas, including grammar, vocabulary, listening, writing (especially for more advanced students), reading, and comprehension. To enrich the learning experience for child learners, I have a subscription to Epic, an online platform boasting an extensive collection of storybooks and non-fiction texts suitable for various reading levels.
