As a beginner level language learners, you can study reading in a simple word. But, simple words like what? You must be wondering when you read the title of this column. The first words you should read are: Practice reading numbers and colors. Yes, it matters. Because when you study Indonesian with materials such as BIPA, you will be invited to read simple conversational texts where usually simple conversations will discuss questions like "What time is it?" then you have to answer with Numbers, right?
Apart from learning to use file books, when you are a traveler and are going to Indonesia, of course you will use a lot of money and you have to know how to say it in Indonesian. Of course you can actually use English, but remember when you are a foreigner in another country, they will be happy if you can use that country's language, especially Indonesians.

Because after knowing how to pronounce the letters of the alphabet correctly, you will be invited to practice simple reading. In this context simple reading is like: reading colors and numbers. In reading practice, you must know the syllables so that you can read correctly.

Well, to start learning a Indonesian, the first thing you have to learn is the Indonesian alphabet. Why should you learn the alphabet? The answer is, so that when you start learning vocabulary, you can pronounce the word correctly. So, if you've never studied a Indonesian at all, don't underestimate learning the alphabet. And in every country it will be different how to pronounce the alphabet.
