Hi, I send you my tips about language learning:
- You can use apps on your mobile phone, for example Duolingo. I find this helpful, but it's not enough to learn a new language. It's more like a game, a few minutes or more every day, which is fun and useful. However, you can't expect to be able to hold a conversation in the foreign language in a short time.
- You can attend a course at a school. Here you learn together with others, which can be fun and motivating. However, you are dependent on fixed times and do not learn as effectively as you would on your own.
- You can attend a one-to-one course. This is a very good way to learn quickly, but is usually very expensive.
- I prefer to learn with a personal teacher or tutor on Italki. This is very effective and, depending on the teacher, also very cheap. In my opinion, it's best to learn with native speakers, otherwise you'll learn the wrong pronunciation and sometimes even the wrong grammar. You can also search by country so that you can find a teacher in your desired region. I personally prefer this method.
So now you know which method I would recommend for learning a new language.
That’s my opinion about learning a language, I don’t use this for German, because it’s my native language. 😀But it’s no difference what language you are learning. Some languages are more difficult than others. I think German isn’t easy but it’s not the most difficult language ever. You can fix it.
Hopefully this helps.
Greetings from Switzerland
