In ABBA’s song “Venus” Russians hear a line “she’s got it” as [ʃiːzgara]. Do native English speakers hear [ʃiːzgara], too?

I hear "She's got it". But I think that comes from extreme familiarity with the language. It is very easy to misunderstand or mis-hear song lyrics.

Try listening to the Manfred Mann song "Blinded By The Light". It's my favourite example of lyrics that are almost impossible to understand.

I found the song. It is Bananarama  - Venus. I had never heard the song before. As a native ENG speaker and a decent RU speaker, I gotta say I hear "She's got it" in english rather clearly. Hope that answers your question. However, when I listen to Russian music, I often mishear lyrics all the time :) I have to look at the lyrics sometimes.
