Transformational Grammar
Who has any information about transformational grammar? Do you think it is a useful way of getting rid of hundreds of exceptions in traditional grammar or you think it is a waste of time? Who actually has studied it?

I have done a lot of transformation grammar exercises and I find it quite useful. I can learn a lot of new structures and phrases through these exercies
