Life can be cruel if you’re a dreamer: Are you a dreamer or a doer?
“Life can be cruel if you’re a dreamer” is a song I came  across in YouTube today. It stimulated my mind to think why. A dreamer is a person who constantly plans and wish for things to happen but their dreams can be impractical. I think that life is cruel if you’re a dreamer and not a doer at the same time because failure can lead to frustration and even depression.

There is nothing wrong with being a dreamer but overdoing can. I have a friend who loves travelling, everyday she dreams of going to so many places. However, she has no means or no money and so instead of spending time on ways to earn money, she just looks at the Facebook post of people who travel. She is a dreamer but not a doer.

A dreamer who can be successful that can do his or her dreams. Be a doer not be a dreamer.

You need to be a doer or you will waste your life sitting around wishing and dreaming. Wishing and dreaming are only helpful when they are the first step to making a plan and actually doing something.

I think we should be both, when it's possible. I mean, in my opinion everyone of us is a dreamer and our lifelong goal should be make our dreams come true, even when it seems extremely complicated. Every day when we wake up we should have our goals clear in mind and do anything we can to achieve them, even tough it's a long and complicated journey. That's just my opinion, of course. Have a nice day!

@Teo Great opinion and agree that both is important. Everything starts with a dream.. Have a great day as well.

@Caitlyn Being a doer is more important because dreams don't become a reality on their own.
