How we can use "tho"?
I've been reading some explanations and there are many ways to use it.
However, the only application that I've really understood is when "tho" has the same meaning of the word "though", that is, when there is a change of opinion in the same sentence.
Is it always used at the end of the sentence?

'Tho' is not a word in its own right: it is nothing more than an abbreviation of the word 'though'. People who can't be bothered to write the six-letter word 'though' write the three-letter word 'tho' instead. It's similar to writing 'thru' instead of 'through' - a lazy shorthand.

And yes, you can use 'though' at the end of the sentence to show a different opinion. Putting 'though' at the end of a sentence is just the same as putting 'but' at the beginning or in the middle of it. For example:

The film is good, but it's rather long = The film is good. It's rather long, though.
He's a bright student, but he's a bit lazy. = He's a bright student. He's a bit lazy, though.

I wouldn't recommend writing the abbreviation 'tho'. The proper spelling is 'though', so that's what you should use.

Hi Ana,
"Tho" is a slang spelling of "though" -- it's the same word with the same general meaning. The place where you see "tho" written is online, on social media and in text messages. Younger English speakers use the spelling "tho" to be informal, to joke in a way that is about making fun of people who are too formal. "Snark" is what that is called in American English. You are right, it is used at the end of sentences for a contrast of opinion. But the contrast is usually a response to someone.

For example:
Person A: Young people are so lazy, they don't bother to type out words. This is the end of English!
Young Person: bothered u tho ;)

Here's the first line of the poem Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening by an American poet named Robert Frost:

Whose woods these are, I think I know.
His house is in the village, though.

As Su.Ki. said, this would be the same thing as saying, "I think I know whose woods these are, but his house is in the village."

tho... not a word
though is pronounced as if it is spelt "tho" and English has a bunch of words that end "ough" with two different sounds.

I believe that elephants can fly, though only in films. So "though" can be in the middle of a sentence.
