How can you "make a difference"?
"Make a difference" is an idiom meaning: To have an impact, especially in a positive way.

Example sentences:

You were the one who taught me that I could <em>make a difference</em>. I didn’t know how to teach until I met you.

I started to make a difference when I started recycling and reusing garbage, when I prefer to use recycled bags instead of plastic bags. I make a difference when I stopped eating meat and I started eating healthier. Some actions we make could look like as little, but these ones can have an positive impact in the world !Act local, think global!
We all can make a difference to contribute to our society and environment!!

Idiom aside, I think it's pointless to try to make a difference as I've learnt that "no good deed goes unpunished". Guess I've answered the idiom wih another

I started my Volunteer work at my local hospital last February 2020. I feel that I am "making a difference" by giving back to my community. Princess Diana once said "<em>"Carry out a random act of kindness, with no expectation of reward, safe in the knowledge that one day someone might do the same for you."</em>

Would you like to share how you're "making a difference" to your community/society/humanity ?
