There are so many brazilian expressions, I'll write some of these, I selected some usual expressions. I also tried to translate literally some of them, but it's not an easy job. Hope you enjoy it!

- Entrar numa fria - encrencar-se, fazer mau negócio [get in a cold](to be in trouble, to be fooled)
- Entrou pelo cano - deu-se mal [got in a pipe](in trouble)
- Entre a cruz e a espada - quando está em um dilema, sem saída[between the cross and the sword](in a dilemma, no way out)
- Cair na real - perceber, dar-se conta [to fall in reality](realize)
- Cara de pau - cínico, sem-vergonha[wood face](cynical, shameless)
- Cobra criada - pessoa esperta [grown snake](a very clever person)
- Barbeiro, navalha - mau motorista[shaver/razor](bad driver)
- A casa caiu - uma trama ou crime foi descoberto[the house fell](a plot or crime has been unveiled)
- A vaca foi pro brejo - deu tudo errado [the cow went to the marsh/mud](all went wrong)
- A coisa ficou preta – encrencou[the thing turned black](a bad situation, troubles)
- Com o pé na cova - prestes a morrer, velho demais[with the foot in the pit](about to die, or too old)
- Conversa pra boi dormir - conversa mole, inconvincente[a talk to bull to sleep](unconvincing speech, - bullshit)
- Custa os olhos da cara - diz-se de algo que está juito caro[it costs the eyes of the face](said of sth too costly)

- O fim da picada - algo deplorável, inadmissível [te end of sting](sth deplorable, unacceptable)
- Não dá ponto sem nó - não faz maus negócios, esperto (smn clever)
- Cavalo dado não se olham os dentes - o que é recebido de presente não deve ser criticado[do not look the teeth of a given horse](as sth is given for free, it should not be criticized)
- Encher a cara - embebedar-se(binge drinking)
- Mala sem alça (ou apenas "mala") - pessoa chata[bag without handle](a dull, boring person)
- Mandachuva - o chefe, chefão ('Top Cat', the boss)
- Estar matando cachorro a grito - pessoa em estado de grande carência, especialmente amorosa, mas também material [to kill dog screaming](in great lack of lovin' and affection, but also material)
- Empacotar - morrer [to pack](to die)
- Feito nas coxas - malfeito, feito de qualquer jeito [made/done on the thigh](poorly done)

I think Lucas has depicted most of the commonly used expressions in a very good way. We could go deeper and start exploring expressions related to each region in Brazil - as this is a continental area country, we have lots of different expressions depending on where you are - even expressions written and spoken the same way but with totally opposite meanings. Example: "fodido". That could mean "very good" or "very bad", depending on the region of the country. Plese do not use that expression everywhere. That is a slang, sometimes offensive. "Sua bicicleta é fodida" could mean "sua bicicleta é excelente" or "sua bicicleta é um lixo".
