Translation of a song: "Brillas" by León Larregui (Spanish to English)

Brillas (You shine)

we gave each other everything that was given to us they gave us
we gave each other everything and so much more
to recognize us later again so that later we would recognize each other again.

we give each other everything they give us given to us
we give each other all that and so much more
Wake up hanged up in your lips waking up hanging from your lips

Oh! you shine, and you shine so cute beautifully that we shine together between eyelashes
divine, divine smile, moon hug, full moon hug

we gave each other everything that was given to us

we gave each other everything and so much more
so that later we would recognize each other again.

Oh! you shine, and you shine so beautifully that we shine together between eyelashes

divine, divine smile, embrace of the moon, of the full moon

and so, both together, the two of us together, and so, what they gave us was given us
and so, both together, we two together, and so, what they give us is given us

Obviously, there are many ways to translate songs. I didn't try to correct your grammar or punctuation, I just tried to translate the song as well as I could.

I think lo que se nos da translates into English better using the regular passive. It is closer in meaning to lo que nos es dado [what is given to us] than lo que ellos nos dan [what they give us], don't you think?

¡Fenomenal! Esto es la razón verdadera de aprender español. Soy seguro que brillas también, Elizabeth.

I hope you like it :)
