These days the man has a lot of comforts which helps him to enjoy different services, like going to the work by car, warming ourselves up with radiators or having water in comfortable handy plastic  bottles. Nevertheless our world is suffering from pollution in order to satisfy our needs.

Firstly, we waste a lot of things even when we can perfectly recycle them. For instance, the water we use to cook is thrown away as soon as we finish cooking, we employ the car for going to places which are very close to our house,  furthermore we waste electricity by leaving lights which we don't use switched on. This is only the smallest part of what we waste.

However, scientists are working to find simple ways to economize. For example. More trees have been planted for more oxygen, we produce much of our energy from wind and solar power. In several cities we ride bicycles instead of cars to run errands.

From my point of view what we are doing is insufficient. I suppose that we should change our lifestyle completely, by maturing our sense of respect for the planet. As we need it, it needs us.

This is quite a nice thoughtful essay. You have outlined the problem in the first paragraph, given examples in the second, what is being done in the third and your opinion in the last. It follows a logical pattern. There is good use of linking words and a lot of good collocations.

The main problem i can find is the overuse of 'the', when we are talking about things in general we don't use  'the'. As soon as we get specific we do. For example - Scientists are looking at new ways of saving energy and the scientists at the University of Reading have come up with some brilliant ideas.

In several cities we ride use bicycles instead of cars to run errands. (I would say keep "ride", but then it sounds like you're "riding" cars haha).

1. I know you're Italian but you need to try and cut down on using "the" haha. We do use it in English but not as much as Italians.

2. Try to remember that English uses less "di" than Italian. Bottles of plastic Plastic bottles. There were some other examples... but I forgot them. But anyway it's just like saying "My dad's car" rather than "The car of my dad".
