Hello, here in Chile the word "wey" is it not exist, but I heard this word from Mexican people and it mean colleague, partner, friend, etc. is as expression.

Here in Spain we don't use that word at all. You can hear things like 'tío', 'colega' or even 'tronco' from young people or in certain casual circunstances, but never 'wey'.

Actually the actual word is buey, which means ox. But people do say it as wey, anyways, it is dude. You use it with your friends, and thats all. Ex Que onda wey? Whats up dude? A wey what are you going to do tomorrow? A dude what are you going to do tomorrow? It is slang thats all, just like vato, wey, carnal ect....

it's used frequently like "dude" in English, but I think it's used in the context of "f***er*. in a friendly way though.
