She forgot her books yesterday....RIGHT She has forgotten her books yesterday....WRONG She told me she forgot her laptop last week....RIGHT She told me she has forgotten her laptop last week....WRONG Just study the past and present perfect. You've been asking this same question a number of times now. Maybe a little bit of self study will solve the problem.

"She forgot her books yesterday." This sounds fine. "She has forgotten her books yesterday." This is not correct. You could say "She has forgotten her books every day for the past week." She told me she forgot her laptop last week. - This is fine. She told me she has forgotten her laptop last week. - Not good. You could say "She told me she has forgotten her laptop every day for the past week."
