Que significa "haciendome el interesante"?
El texto:
—Esta misma tarde, dentro de una o dos horas. Ya sabes lo impulsiva que soy. ¿Te viene bien a ti?
—No muy bien, pero lo arreglaré —respondí haciéndome el interesante, pues he de reconocer que me hacía mucha ilusión verla de nuevo.

It means = trying to give the impression of being an interesting person.
you could use it with other words, for example:
Mi amigo me pidió que conduzca el auto, haciéndome el estúpido le dije que no sabía conducir.
Mi novia me llamó para ayudarla a lavar el auto, haciéndome el ocupado le dije que tenía mucho trabajo que hacer.

Hacerse el interesante significa que quiere mostrarse ante la otra persona como alguien digno de interés. O sea, que la otra persona piense que tiene una vida interesante, muy activa, que es polifacético, por lo tanto, tiene poco tiempo.

"hacerse el interesante" means to act like you don't really care.
this is very close to Displaying a patronizingly superior attitude treating people in a condescending way.
you have to conjugate this verb like a reflexive verb
yo me hago el interensate.
el/ella se hacen el interesante.
and so on.
