hi, i'm vietnamese. yes, a question for instance: Tên của bạn là gì? "Tên của bạn" is mean "your name". it is Subject. " là " is mean " is". it is verb. "gì" is the question words. it's mean "what". keep trying!

Hi there, Basically, Vietnamese put a question word (Wh-word or some modal particles play the role of contructing the questions) at the end of a sentence to make a question sentence. For Wh-question: Q: Bạn sống ở ĐÂU? (Where do you live?) A: Tôi sống ở VIỆT NAM (I live in Vietnam) [Đâu= where. "Việt Nam" is the information that answers for the word "đâu". In short, to make a Wh- question, you just simply replace what you want to know by the Wh-word at the same postion!] For a yes/no question: Q1: Bạn CÓ (phải) là học sinh KHÔNG? ( Are you a student?) Q2: Bạn CÓ hay đi chơi vào tuần KHÔNG? (Do you often go out at the weekend?) [Here we have a contructure S+ CÓ+ (adv)+ V+ N + KHÔNG] As I have told you about modal practicles, here are some other examples: Q1: Con chưa làm bài tập HẢ? (You haven't done your homeworks, right?) Q2: Con sẽ làm bài tập CHỨ? ( Will you do your homeworks?) Q3: Hôm qua, Jason (đã) đi chơi với bạn, PHẢI KHÔNG? ( Yesterday, Jason went out with you, didn't he?) Q4 Bạn đã ăn cơm CHƯA? (Have you had your meal yet?) Q5: Ngày mai cậu phải đi thật À? (Do you really have to leave tomorrow?) Q6: Thứ bảy tuần này tụi mình đi xem phim, ĐƯỢC KHÔNG? (We will go to the cinema this Saturday ok?) Q7: Anh vui lòng giải thích lại câu này, ĐƯỢC KHÔNG? (Would you mind explaning this statement again please?) I do hope this will help you :-)
