What do these words mean? Sloppy first kiss, smut ,... The text below is the transcript of a film called The Vampire Diaries. Elena invites his new boyfriend to her home for the first time. It's tomorrow now, and Elena and two of her friends called Caroline and Bonnie are sitting in a grill, talking about the new guy. I cannot understand these words from their conversation; sloppy first kiss, touchy feely, smut, blockage, jump his bones, out of it. I would appreciate it, if you could help me. Here is the transcript: Caroline: So then what? Elena: So then nothing. Caroline: You and Stefan talked all night? There was no sloppy first kiss or touchy feely of any kind? Elena: Nope.We didn't go there. Caroline: Not even a handshake? I mean, Elena, We are your friends.Ok? You are supposed to share the smut. Elena: We just talked for hours. Caroline: Ok, what is with the blockage? Just jump his bones already! Ok, it's easy. Boy likes girl, girl likes boy, sex. Elena: Profound. Bonne: Where are you going? Elena: Caroline's right. It is easy.If I sit here long enough, I'll end up talking myself out of it instead of doing what I started the day saying I was going to do. Where can I use "just jump somebody's bones"? Is it rude? What does already mean in "Just jump his bones already"?

First of all I LOVE The Vampire Diaries!!! I know exactly the scene you mean =) . . .this is kinda embarrassing to write on such a public site . . . Basically Caroline wants Elena to tell her anything intimate/sexual they did, that's what smut means. 'Sloppy first kiss', sloppy can mean clumsy, or wet, or over-emotional. I think in this phrase it kind of means all 3. By 'blockage' she mean 'what's stopping you' 'jump his bones' is quite a crude way of saying like 'make the first move' (I think, I'm not entirely sure) To 'talk one's self out of something' means to go over it in your head, thinking of all the cons and pros of something, then deciding not to do it after all. As in you just need to do it already and not wait and think about it.

"Touchy feely" -- In this context her friends are asking if Elena touched her new boyfriend on the buttocks, penis, chest, etc. Or if her new boyfriend touched her in similar places. "Smut" -- Also dirt. Talk of sexual activity is frequently referred to as 'dirty talk' or 'filthy talk'. Caroline is asking Elena to explicitly describe the details of any sexual contact. "Jump his bones" -- means to touch in a sexually aggressive way. Can be anything from touching or rubbing to having sexual intercourse. In this context it means sexual intercourse. "Talking myself out of it" -- Convincing myself to deny my desire. Where could you use "just jump somebody's bones"? If you were comfortable with your partner you might say, "I just want to jump your bones!" as a way to express a strong need to have sex. This may be appropriate if you have not had a chance to have sex with your partner in a long time. It is VERY forward to say this to someone you are not already intimate with. More frequently, this phrase is used when friends are exchanging gossip. You might say, "Whenever I see him/her I just want to jump his/her bones" to express your physical attraction. This could be considered rude to say to someone that you are not intimate with unless they feel the same way about you. If they feel the same way about you, it could be considered a compliment and get the two of you into bed sooner. "Just jump his bones ALREADY" -- Just have sex with him BY/BEFORE NOW. The 'already' in this very familiar case implies the question "What are you waiting for." This is reinforced by the initial question, "What's the blockage?".
