What does 참 mean? I have seen 참 a few times and always thought it meant "really" or "very", but my dictionary says that it means to "hold back". Could some one help me and maybe give me an example sentence please. 감사합니다!

It could be. But in that case, it should be used alone. For example... "참! 어제 미팅은 어땠어?" = "By the way! How was your meeting yesterday?" So it's like 'by the way' or 'wait'.
