Namaste "K cha",
First of all I am from Nepal and huge fan of Jim and second Jim Morrison has terrible Nepalese Accent. Its even hard for Nepalese to understand the Nepalese word he sang let alone non Nepalese people.
Exact words said by Jim Morrison: "Ganja chucha .. khau khau khau .. Hookah Ganja .. Hei cha koona mai cha .. Pa Paru rai cha .. ooh wha pani cha .. Hein cha .. khau"
How would Nepalese say it: "Ganja chusa .. khau khau khau .. Hookah Ganja .. Hei cha koona mai cha .. ooh pari pani cha .. ooh wha pani cha .. hein cha .. khau"
Word Meaning: Ganja = Weed, chusa = sucking action of smoke from pipe of hookah, khau = let's eat (no word in Nepali for verb "smoke" so we use verb "eat" for smoke, although there's a word for noun "smoke" its called "dhuwa" noun ), Hookah Ganja = Hookah filled with Weed, Hei cha = its growing right here, koona mai cha = its growing right in that corner too, ooh pari pani cha = its also growing over there, ooh wha pani cha = and then it right next to it too, hein cha khau = its everywhere, lets smoke.
Now you can imagine why this song is so euphoric, he was a fat kid in the middle of the chocolate factory and people were using those word to show/assure him all he can smoke is his(during the hippie era .. not so legal now .. but still grows everywhere).
Also,
Although there is English word "Ashen" .. doesn't make sense in the song with "Lady" .. "Ashen" pronounced exactly like "YaSoon" in Nepali shortcut for "Yeha Soona" "Lady" meaning "Listen here" "Women"
Lastly,
Nepal is very beautiful country very warm culture very kind people for the most part and not very expensive (excluding some exceptions) .. please visit Nepal and smoke all you can but sensibly ;)
Love,
Yug Thapa.
