How can I make my ricewine warm? I have bought a bottle of ricewine long ago and I know from a chinese restaurant, that the chinese can make it hot very fast. I ordered it and it just tooked maybe 2-3 minutes. I just wonder how can I do it? It is japanese Sake, because I cannot find original chinese ricewine in the supermarket (even in the chinese restaurants they call it Sake). So, now it is still in it's glass bottle. What should I do? Shall I open the bottle and let the Sake flow into a can and make this can warm, like I would prepare a soup? I did so once long ago, but then I had problems to fill it into my ricewine plate. So, can somebody please give me a step by step description how I do it right? Thank you!

Normally we boil it like boiling water, then put a egg and sugar inside just for a while, then you can enjoy it. Very delicious. If you don't like egg, then just use slow fire to heat it till you smell it's awesome then can enjoy it... Sorry, I'm not so Deutsch, so no sop. :-)

Genau das tue ich ja auch. Ich habe ein Gefäß zum Servieren und eine kleine Schale dazu. Ich finde, diese unterscheiden sich kaum von den japanischen Trinksets.

I have bought a bottle of ricewine and now I need to find a way to make it warm, otherwise it does not taste good at all.

@Fresh_Milk: In chinese restaurants in Berlin, if you order ricewine it is always hot but I feel it is some kind of refreshing, even during hot temperatures and it tastes very ugly, if you keep standing it for too long and it gets cold. But I do not think they put salt and an egg into it, I think they just boil it.

There are varies ways to enjoy it, and the way generally depends on where you are, in china. Northerners, or the people live near the coastal land used to boil it directly just like the way of boiling water. Then add some sugar and an (or more if you like) egg inside, no stir. Wait about 5 minutes, and enjoy it. But my favor is to ice it, taste good in summer. Climate in our city is desperate in summer, that temperature can keep peaking over 40 degrees Celsius, for half a month, at least.

@Start from scratch: This is what I also thought. I just fear that the glass of the bottle might break apart. So I better just use a low degree, am I right? I can choose between 1 to 9. 1 is the lowest temperature and 9 the highest. Which one could I choose? @eileen: The ricewines I always drank have always been served hot, and even if it is hot outside they feel refreshing to me. Here you can only buy japanese Sake and even in the chinese restaurants they call the ricewine Sake, because it seems germans believe that ricewine would always come from Japan, which is not true, but even I can only find japanese ricewine here.
