ELL Riddle of the day: What do you call a witch at the beach?
I think I will start posting riddles for my ELL (English Language Learners) a few times a week. If you don't know what a riddle is, it is:
a question or statement intentionally phrased so as to require ingenuity in ascertaining its answer or meaning, typically presented as a game.
Here is one example of a riddle:
You may have to study your measuring units to recognize the joke.
Q: Why can't a nose be 12 inches?
A: Because then it would be a foot.
So todays riddle is: What do you call a witch at the beach?
