1. 私はおそくなるのは、あなたが知ってほしい。
I want you to know that I will be late.
2. 私はエビ嫌いことは、あなたが知ってほしい。
I want you to know that I hate shrimp.
だけど、この文の意味は紛らわしいかも知れません。
But the meaning might be a little confusing or ambiguous.

～であることをあなたには知って欲しい。
あなたには～であることを知っていて欲しい。
あなたに知って欲しいことは、～であること。
など、「I want you to know that～」は「あなたが知って欲しい」より「あなた’に’は'知って欲しい」が自然な日本語になると思います。
1.では「私が遅くなることはあなたには知っていて欲しい」「あなたに知っていて欲しいことは私が遅くなることだ」であったり
2．では「私がエビ嫌いなのは、あなたに知って欲しい」「あなたには、私がエビ嫌いであることを知って欲しい」
が自然だと思います。

In the case of sentence number one you would express it differently depending on the formality of the situation.
In a casual situation you could say "すみません（ごめん）、(ちょっと）遅れます".
For sentence number two similarly to the first sentence we don't usually use the wording of "want you to know" so,
it would be something more like "すみません、エビはちょっと苦手なのですが。。" using the word 「嫌い」sounds quite harsh so I would refrain from using it if your trying to be polite.
