Can anyone help me with writing the date in Scottish Gaelic? I'm trying to teach myself the language and I thought that writing the date in Gaelic in my journal would be a good way to learn the days months and numbers, but, I'm having some problems finding resources for saying and writing the date. Maybe I'm makig it too complicated or I'm just being dense. Any help would be appreciated.

To write the date you need to know your ordinal numbers (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.) and the names of the months. To demonstrate the structure, here's today's date: "an siathamh latha deug dhen Fhaoilleach" = the sixteenth of January (literally: the sixth day teen of-the January).
