What does "flake" means? I saw this sentence in a movie: "He is a total flake", but when I searched this in (or ON, or AT, idk) Internet, I saw "To be such a flake" as well, and that FLAKE means an unreliable person... But it can means "selfish" too... How do you natives use this word? And "FLAKY" has the same meaning? Tnks :)

In the UK, we only really use it as an adjective 'flakey' and it means unreliable. He always changes his mind, he is so flakey.

Informal US English. An unreliable person or a weird person. BTW "search FOR something ON the internet"
