Like Panda, I don't look like a foreigner, but I was born and raised in the US. It would take a book for me to explain everything I thought of when I first experienced China. Two things that are an absolute fact: the mountains and scenery are breathtaking, and landmarks everywhere are brimming with history. It would take me ages to see it all. The food there defines the word diverse. scorpions? dim sum? monkey brains? spicy escargots? chinese version of mickey D's? China's got it. Oh, and since I'm a girl who adores shopping, China was shopping heaven. Loved the boutiques there and the bargains I could get on, hm, EVERYTHING.

I guess I am technically consider a foreigner even if I don't look like one in China, but I have to say China's historical landmarks and food are what I enjoyed the most when I visited, especially the food. *droools*

What I know is that China is a huge country, with thousands of millions of population. They eat rice. Or ate it. Or may be just rural people do .... They are industrious and work much. They like bicycles. China has a very ancient and rich history and never showed agression. China has a lot of wise statements. For example: There's my truth, your thuth, and the truth. Or this: if you want to win your enemy, sit on the riverside and wait untill his corpse drifts by. And what else.... China saved their socialist regime, Russia didn't... China is a motherland of Buddhism or close to it (May be I'm wrong?). It's a very important religion. It gave a cocept "nirvana" that was a name of the band that I like then. And what else, China leads very peaceable politics and protected my home country always. China has very beautiful buildings. Its architecture is unique. What is negative about China is that so many people is there that I can't imagine how do they live. The same is about Japan. And I can't imagine how they remember their complicated hieroglyphs. How do they distinguish them?
