Who are the weed nuns?
I watched a video about a nun who escaped the church and became a weed nun. So, what basically is a the difference between a weed nun and a traditional nun?
I have seen them smoking weeds. so is it why they are called so?

Apparently there is a group of nuns in California who make money by growing and selling cannabis.
You can google weed nuns and there are videos about them on YouTube.

They are a group of seven women who live in California. They grow marijuana, and make and sell hemp-based products.
However they are not "real" nuns. The group was formed in 2014, and they are not affiliated with the Catholic church in any way. In fact, I read an article that said they are against religion. They said their Holy Trinity is the marijuana plant.
They are a small business. Calling themselves nuns and wearing habits is basically a gimmick to advertise and sell their products.
