It was a sunny day. At dinner, Mom mentioned that one of our relatives with cancer is nearing the end. She seemed conflicted about whether to visit him one last time. Given their history, she's not particularly fond of him. It's likely that all relatives will attend the funeral, regardless of their closeness to the deceased. Many people will put on a show of grief, even if they weren't close. My mom, being the rebel she is, probably won't attend. So, I guess we're cool.
