• I customize lessons around the students' needs. We'll practice using activities that you enjoy and that work best for you.

• Hold a certificate of 420-hours Teaching Japanese Language Course.
• Passed Japanese Language Teaching Competency Test in 2002. I have been teaching since then.
• In Tokyo, I taught students both singly (one-on-one) and in groups.
• For over ten years, I have been teaching both online and in classrooms at a university and a language school in Sweden.

For example, with beginners
• We start by practicing Japanese scripts (kana).
• I then help you to learn Japanese grammar systematically.
• You get to practice both speaking and grammar in a good balance.
Textbooks: GENKI,Marugoto, Tobira, Minna no Nihongo, Japanese for busy people, etc.
For intermediate students
• I will help you develop your fluency through conversations on a range of topics.
• We continue to improve your grammar through theory and practice.
Textbooks: QUARTET, Marugoto, Tobira, etc.
Conversation class
We will talk about anything you like or a given topic. I will also help you with the grammar if necessary, so that you can speak more correctly.我的教材

Mayumi is the best Japanese teacher I have had. Her goal is to make sure her students get the most out of her class and is a supportive and kind teacher. I can not recommend a lesson with Mayumi enough.

A very helpful lesson! Mayumi Sensei explains everything perfectly so I finally understood difficult moments in the text that i couldn't figure out myself.

Mayumi sensei always puts in a lot of effort into her lessons and always makes the lessons enjoyable and fun.
She explains grammar excellently and makes working through exercises fun and personal.
She's great at identifying areas of improvement and focuses on them to ensure that you don't feel overwhelmed when progressing to future lessons.
Highly recommended teacher.

I am having a wonderful experience learning Japanese with Mayumi sensei! She is always incredibly friendly, patient, and always make sure that lessons are clear and easy to understand. The lessons are well-structured, which helps me stay organized and makes learning more enjoyable. I truly appreciate her approach and feel like I’m making great progress!
