Hello/Habari! I am Jacinta you can call me Jacy, a native Swahili speaker with a passion of teaching language and culture. I am a very patient person, fun and friendly. Think of me as a new friend, be happy😊 and be ready to learn Swahili and speak like a native. I love watching movies😊,listening to music as I sing along🎶travelling for adventure and cooking. Hujambo! Mambo vipi😊I believe learning a new language is beneficial because you will be able to express yourself well at a given place where that Language is used. With over 4 years of experience teaching Swahili ,I tailor my lessons to each students specific needs whether you are a beginner or advanced learner. My approach combines interactive activities, real world conversations and personalized feedback to make learning both effective and enjoyable. My teaching style relies mostly on the specific students interest. As your tutor, I can help you become confident not just in the Swahili language but also with the social skills that go along with successful communication. I love to make my students feel special and value to their lesson and I can teach students of all levels. I will always be available whenever my students have any questions with Swahili terms and will be willing to help at all times. I love to give notes after teaching a topic for my students to have better reference materials for their practice . You will also get to do a test or quiz after topics just to examine yourself. Great first lesson! Jacinta is a very nice person. She was very well prepared for the class but also open for material that I brought to the lesson. Getting to a conversational level in Swahili is still a long road ahead but I feel that Jacinta might be just the right person to show me the way.
