I have attended 4 lessons so far and have found each one to be extremely helpful for the development of my Filipino. Guro Vicky was able to pinpoint my Tagalog language level accurately from the beginning which was important for me since I had self-studied Tagalog previously. Her materials are creative, interactive, and tailored to my needs. She provides many example sentences for each word or topic we cover which helps me use new words with confidence. Lastly, Guro Vicky is a lovely person to talk to, keeps the conversation going, and gets me practicing my Tagalog. Our lessons are always fun :D Salamat Vicky!!!

A wonderful lesson with Victoria as we discussed recent events since it had been a while since our last lesson. One thing I appreciate about her lessons is that she always sprinkles in a lot of Filipino culture especially in modern times. It's very insightful and I learn something new. Aside from cultural tidbits, Victoria thoroughly reviewed sentences I had constructed and provided excellent feedback to improve.

Vicky is honestly my favorite language teacher I’ve ever had 🧡 I can definitely feel how much effort she puts into our classes and she is very present while I share stories. I also appreciate how many examples she gives me for new grammar/vocab so that I fully understand. In the short amount of time I’ve been taking classes with Vicky, I’ve already noticed so much progress in my Tagalog! ✨

In every class with Victoria I always learn so much from her! A student can try to study on their own but you miss out on so much when you are with someone who really understands the mechanics of the language and can explain it to you in an easily understood manner. Victoria is a very diligent teacher who puts in a lot of effort to ensure her students make great progress in every lesson.

There is never a dull class with Victoria as she radiates positive energy that is contagious. You can't help but smile and come away feeling better after finishing her lessons. In addition she absolutely excels at what she does and knows how to work with her students to make meaningful progress towards their goal of learning the Tagalog language.
