Vicky is honestly my favorite language teacher I’ve ever had 🧡 I can definitely feel how much effort she puts into our classes and she is very present while I share stories. I also appreciate how many examples she gives me for new grammar/vocab so that I fully understand. In the short amount of time I’ve been taking classes with Vicky, I’ve already noticed so much progress in my Tagalog! ✨

I have attended 4 lessons so far and have found each one to be extremely helpful for the development of my Filipino. Guro Vicky was able to pinpoint my Tagalog language level accurately from the beginning which was important for me since I had self-studied Tagalog previously. Her materials are creative, interactive, and tailored to my needs. She provides many example sentences for each word or topic we cover which helps me use new words with confidence. Lastly, Guro Vicky is a lovely person to talk to, keeps the conversation going, and gets me practicing my Tagalog. Our lessons are always fun :D Salamat Vicky!!!

Victoria always does a wonderful job of integrating Filipino cultural insights and I walk away learning something new that I never had known before. She is a fantastic educator!

It's always such a joy to have a Tagalog lesson with Victoria! I had recently gone on a trip to the Philippines and we had a very enjoyable discussion talking about my experience and insights. She was well prepared in having conversational topics and resources related to vacation so that we could have a fun discussion and at the same challenge me to use my previous learnings. Although I was rusty after not having a formal lesson in a while she was very kind and patient with me. I really appreciate that she gives great feedback and I always look forward to working with her to keep on improving my Tagalog.
