Vicky is honestly my favorite language teacher I’ve ever had 🧡 I can definitely feel how much effort she puts into our classes and she is very present while I share stories. I also appreciate how many examples she gives me for new grammar/vocab so that I fully understand. In the short amount of time I’ve been taking classes with Vicky, I’ve already noticed so much progress in my Tagalog! ✨

I have attended 4 lessons so far and have found each one to be extremely helpful for the development of my Filipino. Guro Vicky was able to pinpoint my Tagalog language level accurately from the beginning which was important for me since I had self-studied Tagalog previously. Her materials are creative, interactive, and tailored to my needs. She provides many example sentences for each word or topic we cover which helps me use new words with confidence. Lastly, Guro Vicky is a lovely person to talk to, keeps the conversation going, and gets me practicing my Tagalog. Our lessons are always fun :D Salamat Vicky!!!

Had a superb lesson with Victoria as we discussed an exciting upcoming trip, differences in culture, and travel in general. I really appreciate that she really puts in a lot of effort to make her lessons feel personal and very relatable. Very excited to apply what I've learned from her in the Philippines!

Vicky's lesson was fantastic as always. She really knows how to create many learning opportunities on the fly from our conversations and what I try to express. I was very impressed that she took the time to create a new learning resource from our last discussion and focused on honing in on an important concept. Looking forward to Vicky's next lesson!
