I'm Manuel, 30 years old, from Lisbon, Portugal. I love sports (playing and watching), fitness, reading, TV series, films... I also love travelling, been to over 60 countries so far and I'm trying to make a living teaching online precisely so I have the flexibility to travel a lot.我的教學經歷
I've been teaching languages to students of all ages and levels for a decade now and I look forward to doing it on italki now and help you achieve all your language-learning goals. I consider myself a very flexible teacher, able to adjust my methods to each student's level, needs, objectives...我的課程內容與教學風格
I believe there's no "one-size-fits-all" method of teaching. We're all different and we all learn in different ways; my first priority is always to get to know the student and then adapt my methods to them.
If you book a lesson with me, text me and let me know what your level and goals are and what you'd like to do/work on in class. The lesson will be far more productive if there's clear communication and we're on the same wavelength!我的教材

I started studying with Manuel Specifically to prepare for DIPLE - B2 Portuguese exam. He advised to buy some great materials to prepare and we advanced through the exercises rapidly. I passed with 69 out of a total of a 100.
He helped with pointing out my weak areas and insisted I spend more time learning outside of classes. For a person who's finding it hard to stay motivated on my own when it comes to studies this is very helpful.
I'm planning to continue to study until at least C1!

Manuel is great! I've mentioned I want to focus on listening/speaking, and he didn't just come prepared with a conversation, but also with audio clips. He broke down the parts I didn't understand piece by piece so I can build my vocab. A+ just booked 10 more lessons

The class was excellent. I was new to this platform and Manuel gave me a very accurate insight of my English level. He also established a methodology I could follow with him in order to improve my English and what could be the realistic goals to achieve in the near future. In addition, he is a really nice person to talk with and gives easy explanations of the grammar and spelling mistakes I made. I absolutely recommend him!
