My name is Elizabeth, and I am 59 years old. I lived in England, but now I live in Portugal on a farm with my husband, six horses, four cats and two dogs. Horse riding is my passion, but I enjoy working on the farm, renovating our property, and spending time with my friends. I have always been adventurous; my former hobbies include skiing, yacht sailing, snorkelling and scuba diving.
I have been a teacher for over 30 years, but I only specialized in language teaching nine years ago when I moved to Portugal - before that, I taught sciences. Since moving to Portugal tenho estado a aprender portuguese, mas não sou fluente (I have been learning Portuguese, but I am not yet fluent).我的教學經歷
I thoroughly enjoy helping people improve their English. It doesn't matter who you are; I have something to offer you, whether chatting about everyday things or preparing for a particular exam. It is a great privilege to meet so many amazing people through italki and hear about their lives. My teaching style is adaptable to the individual needs of each student. Whether you prefer casual conversations or more structured lessons, I offer flexible options to suit your learning style. For structured lessons, I provide interactive eBooks and a variety of engaging materials that include activities and resources for continued learning beyond the classroom. These tools are especially beneficial for exam preparation.

English TeacherIn this school, I taught classes from B1 to C2, preparing students for the Cambridge Exams. I also had the opportunity to tutor adults individually, giving them support in English according to their needs. I also helped these adults prepare for presentations, including proofreading documents.
1988 - 2014
Science TeacherDuring my time as a science teacher, I had the opportunity to teach a range of topics including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science and Health Sciences. My students were aged between 11 and 18 and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the classroom sharing my knowledge and preparing exciting and engaging lessons.
