Mahjouba Majdoubi

This was my second lesson with Mahjouba. The first I had with her was a very nice general conversation. The second was more of a lecture for the first 45 minutes while she gave me new vocabulary. This was not exactly what I was looking for but provided some new words on topics I am not famliar with. The last 15 minutes was excellent as we went back and forth USING the language.

Today we covered masculine and feminine pronouns and nouns. We also read simple dialogues and texts and answered questions related to what was read. I had the opportunity to read, ask questions, and respond in Arabic. Everything was explained to me clearly. I appreciate Mahjouba's patience and willingness to be collaborative in finding the resources most commensurate with my level and objectives. Excellent lesson!

Each lesson with Ustadhah Mahjouba is well planned and executed. She incorporates the application of what was learned prior in order to maximize retention. I am a beginner, yet I am feeling more and more comfortable speaking.

Ustadhah Mahjouba was excellent! We had a fruitful first lesson, reviewing the letters with harakaat and proper pronunciation, as well as a few points of grammar. She had the lesson prepared in an organized fashion and was thorough in her teaching. She gave many examples with explanation and additional commentary to provide a context for the vocabulary. She was generous with her time and encouraging throughout. I thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and learned a lot. جزاكم الله خيرا

This teacher is very nice and patient. While the lesson started out below my ability it quickly moved to a wonderful conversation. The teacher always made sure to patiently answer or review anything I had questions on. Highly recommended!

Ms. Mahjouba puts a lot of effort into every lesson. She constantly encouraged and patiently taught me things I didn't understand. She is very kind and caring. Thank you Ms. Mahjouba!
