Hi, my name is Jake. I'm originally from Chicago, however I live in Sofia, Bulgaria where I teach English online. I have a passion for music and I play guitar and bass. I also love to ride bikes, go hiking, cook, travel and juggle.我的教學經歷
I started teaching English in Cuzco, Peru in 2008 after I got my TEFL certificate. I later lived and taught in Colombia, Korea, Spain and finally Turkey where I instructed at university for almost ten years. I have taught all ages and levels of students from basic to advanced.我的課程內容與教學風格
As a teacher I'm fun and energetic and I seek to create a warm supportive atmosphere in my classes. I always encourage my students to make learning English a hobby by listening to lots of music, watching films and reading.我的教材

We exchange the songs we like today . Jake told me about his own song ‘ Diamonds and Pearls ‘ today. It’s an interesting song and the way he think of the song is funny. I also shared one of my favorite song to Jake today . It’s called ‘ quiet inside ‘ and I think Jake like this one too. Jake said we always can fight depression with playing music and I agree that . I wish my English can be better , so I can find more topic and discuss with Jake more fluent. I hope I can express myself more next time . There’s never enough time when we r talking about the things we r both interested in .

Jake is a charming person with a jazz voice .I enjoy listening to him. You can talk anything about music with Jake. He can both play guitar and bass well. He needs more students , let us join him and talking about music . highly recommended.
