Hello! My name is Ignacio and I am keen to help you improve your Spanish.
After an international career spanning over 25 years as an officer of the United Nations managing international aid, I have retired early to enjoy other things I like, and as such, now I have plenty of time to tutor students to further their conversational skills and broaden their vocabulary.
I studied in the US, France and Japan and worked overseas in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas. I realize that my background is very useful in relating / communicating with my students. I am equally fluent in French, English and Portuguese, while I remain a learner in many other languages, wherever I have lived!我的教學經歷
I have been tutoring conversational Spanish for the past 10 years, as a hobby with friends, now as a part-time hobby to help students deepen their knowledge of the language beyond grammar and textbooks, while we do of course address grammar issues as they may arise. Presently, I tutor in conversational Spanish online. I like to make my classes fun to ensure you are enjoying yourself.
My students include those who want to improve their spoken Spanish, pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago, retirees & expats about to move to Spain...
* I teach levels A2 (advanced beginners or pre-intermediate) & above.

My conversational classes are intended to help students improve their oral skills, both practical conversation as well as pronunciation.
My methodology is simple and effective:
1- Understand the student's needs and define learning goals.
2- Propose a teaching approach based on students' preferences and combining various resources (for ex. Q&A, audio, video, role play, text, etc).
3- Maintain a structure with purpose, we don't talk randomly.我的教材
