Hello, my name is Yurika. I'm from Okinawa, japan. My hobby is playing the Sanshin, which is a traditional Okinawan musical instrument. If you're interested in Okinawan culture, I can tell you about it. I also enjoy studying languages and am currently learning some Spanish and Korean. In the future, I want to study more languages and travel to various countries. On my days off, I often go to cafes or watch movies on Netflix. Lately, I've been really into Anime and Korean dramas. I particularly like "Spy x Family" and "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba." Thank you for reading. I am excited to talk with you all!我的教學經歷
I studied Teaching Training Course as my major and Japanese Language Teaching Training Course as my minor. I taught English in high school for two years. I have also volunteered to teach Japanese at Japanese conversation circles and Ottawa Japanese language school as an assistant teacher when I was in Canada.
I am good at communicating, very flexible and a fun person to speak with. I would like to provide lessons that meet your needs and your goals. ●Conversation class
The class is focused on Japanese conversation. I offer classes that meet the needs such as wanting to improve their daily conversation skills, wanting to speak only in Japanese, wanting to acquire speaking skills, and wanting to have free talks, etc.
●Beginner to Intermediate class
I will provide lessons based on the student's Japanese level and their needs. It's okay if you don't know Japanese at all. You can start learning hiragana, katakana, how to introduce yourself, how to use everyday greetings and phrases. For those who want to learn from the basics, I also teach basic grammar.我的教材

First lesson with Yurika. I haven’t spoken much Japanese in the last 26 years, but she helped me to remember many words. Yurika very easy to talk to and is a patient teacher. We talked about many things and the hour flew by quickly!

This is my third lesson with Yurika and it has been great fun having her as a teacher. We went over adjectives this lesson and the proper sentence structures in Japanese. I learned new vocabulary words and phrases in Japanese.

Yurika is a bubbly and fun teacher. She was able to answer all my question and gave fun examples for the different words and phrases we used. I look forward to having another lesson with her.

Yurika 先生は優しい人です (Teacher Yurika is a kind person) 🥹💕 She speaks clearly and has slides on screen to help you understand the question she is asking ☺️ She asks relevant, easy to answer questions and helps provide words or correct sentences if you are having difficulty expressing yourself.
