Hello! I am a native English speaker originally from the area outside of Boston, Massachusetts. I currently live in Rome, Italy with my family, where I am also learning Italian. I am a professional teacher who has spent most of my career working in city schools in the United States as a classroom teacher, special educator, interventionist, and educational leader. I love learning, traveling, and engaging with people from around the world, and I believe learning languages is a way to bring people together.我的教學經歷
I am a teacher with professional experience teaching at the primary, secondary, and university level. I began my education career in Boston, Massachusetts during my undergraduate studies and also have my Master’s Degree in Special Education. I learned to love teaching all learners and decided to become a teacher, with a focus on elementary and special education. I have taught language, literature, mathematics and science. I believe that language learning is best done in social environments where making mistakes and friendly feedback is encouraged because that is how we learn and grow.我的課程內容與教學風格
I am deeply committed to finding ways to reach all learners and making language learning enjoyable and comfortable. My lessons are very tailored to your individual needs, goals, and interests. Additionally, I believe we learn best when we are having fun and being social! I strive to make our lessons and conversations enjoyable and engaging where you feel comfortable to take risks. While we will focus primarily on speaking and listening, we will develop all areas of language through practicing reading and writing as well. I had an amazing lesson with Beth. She taught me how to pronounce mathematical expressions. It was fun and easy to talk to her. She is vigorous, friendly and flexible. I had special requests and she was able to fulfil them completely. I enjoyed improving my English with her. She is one of the best teachers I have meet here. I can highly recommend her.
