I am described as a patient person, I will take as long as needed to help you in every way so that you can achieve your goals. I aim to provide engaging lessons where you can learn in a fun and interactive way. I also want you to learn in a natural way, speaking with a native English speaker so you can feel confident in all situations when speaking in English!

My lessons mainly focus on speaking.
We can focus on whatever topics you need/want in order for your English skills to progress. It doesn’t matter what your level of English is, I can help. We can focus on grammar, fluency, pronunciation, whatever it is that you need!
I try to use authentic materials in my lessons. For example, I would prefer to use news articles, magazines, blogs, extracts from books, films, podcasts and music so you can learn in a more fun and engaging way.我的教材

Advanced Methodologies in English Teaching - Universitat Internacional de Catalyuna - 2022I complete modules on "approaches and planning", "instructional techniques and considerations", "ICT in the classroom", and a final project based on my practical experience in the classroom (I am working in a school 22 hours a week Monday-Friday). I have not yet completed the course (I finish in May).

Level 5 TEFL Certificate - The TEFL Academy - 2021This was a 168 hour course. I learnt how to teach simple to complex grammar concepts to second language students. I learnt how to plan engaging and useful lessons for students of all ages and levels, especially how to differentiate between the levels. I also learnt how to manage learning environments.

2021 - 2022
English Language AssistantI work as an English Language Assistant with Primary (and some secondary) students in a school in Pamplona. I take classes of 15 students. We focus mainly on conversational English from level A1-B1.
2018 - 2020
English tutorI worked as an English tutor for a charity called The Tutor Trust. I would go into schools throughout Manchester and give English tutoring to 15/16 year old students who were preparing for their English Language and English Literature GCSE examinations. My job was to prepare them for the exam, focussing on grammar and writing fluency.
2020 - 2022
Au PairI work each summer as an Au Pair with the same family. Aside from my duties as an Au Pair I also provide English lessons every day for the children (aged 8 and 15). I prepare lessons which accommodate their English levels. We mainly focus on grammar and improving pronunciation and fluency when speaking.
2021 - 2022
English TutorI work as an in person English tutor with children aged 8-12. I help them mainly with grammar, speaking and pronunciation.

Conversation lessons with Ellie have been invaluable experience so far. She is absolutely flexible when it comes to the student’s needs; our classses have been tailored to just what I needed.
She’s always on time, sometimes we even start early. When I needed, she squeezed me into her full schedule for a lesson. She’s responsive, talkative, casual, so that it feels like a chat with a friend, but she’s still alert and ready to correct you when you make a mistake.
Her Manchester accent is the best part; excellent preparation for real-life conversations - throughout my education I’d been exposed to just RP. Then, I went to England and was in for a shock. THIS IS ENGLAND FOLKS!
Ellie is a fantastic teacher and really good value for money.
Don’t hesitate and book in!
