ERICA

Erica-sensei is a wonderful teacher who gives fun lessons. Since I returned from Japan, I haven't been able to speak with native speakers anymore, but Erica-sensei has helped me a lot to regain my Japanese conversation level and even improve it. I've written a review before when I completed one lesson. And, I have now completed 12 lessons so far. I can't recommend Erica enough!! She's an excellent teacher that has made me feel super comfortable in speaking in Japanese. We typically have a casual conversation for the first 15 minutes of the lesson and then she goes over a grammar point for the rest of the time. Afterwards, she sends a file of everything you went over during the lesson. It's super convenient to look back and study. When I first started with my lessons, it was super difficult to come up with sentences and I had difficulty understanding basic conversation. But, having my weekly lessons, I can notice the difference compared to the start. I can't wait to keep having lessons with her and continue my Japanese learning! If you are thinking about taking a class with her, don't hesitate and book it!

Erica is a fun teacher that makes lessons personal for me. She uses my interests and hobbies to engage me and help me learn.

Erica is always enthusiastic and responsive during our conversations. She shows interest in my life and where I have been. We review directionality ( north, south, east, west) , phrases relating to the subject matter, and asks questions about my preferences.

I really enjoyed the class with Erica sensei. She’s always full of energy and very encouraging. Even though I often struggle to speak in complete sentences or find the right words, I still had a wonderful time. I love the positive vibe in the class. She provided a feedback sheet, which allows me to review my grammar and learn new vocabulary.
