Hi, I’m Michael—Mike if you prefer. Born in Sacramento, now living in Xalapa, Veracruz. I know what it’s like to struggle through a new language—I’ve been there. That’s why my lessons aren’t stiff or robotic. We focus on real English—the kind you need to connect, travel, work, and actually enjoy conversations. Want structure? Got it. Prefer laid-back chats? Even better. Hell, we can even game together while learning. I used iTalki myself to learn Spanish, so I get the process. Learning a language shouldn’t feel like clocking into a job you hate. Yeah, we’ll hit the grammar, the vocabulary, the technical stuff—but if that’s all it was, I wouldn’t be here. My goal? Make it real. Make it something you actually want to show up for.
My style is relaxed, but don’t mistake that for aimless. Whether we’re ironing out tricky verb tenses or just talking about the kind of stuff that actually matters in life, you won’t be bored. I don’t do boring. English isn’t just a subject—it’s a tool, a weapon, a passport. And whatever you need it for, that’s what we’ll focus on. No fluff. No wasted time. And for my fellow gamers—yeah, we can run some matches. Fortnite, Marvel Rivals—whatever gets the adrenaline pumping and your English flowing.
