Hello. My name is Alexander. Thanks for stopping by my profile.
I'm passionate about filmmaking, photography, travel, and learning new languages!
I am currently teaching English as I make films about nature and wildlife (I am currently based in Italy, and made films "Vanishing Sky Lords" and "Like an Animal").
It's one of my greatest pleasures in life to converse with people of differing backgrounds, to hear their stories, and understand what makes them tick. Topics surrounding ecology, the natural world, philosophy, sport, and those day-to-day life conundrums are closest to my heart.我的教學經歷
Prior to becoming a teacher and OET Preparation Provider, I worked as a surgical assistant and later qualified as an Advanced Care Paramedic. In addition to my medical background, I have also managed healthcare programs and taught in Canadian institutions, gaining valuable insights into the specific language needs of doctors and nurses. My passion for teaching and linguistic proficiency led me to specialize in providing Medical English training, particularly tailored for healthcare professionals, alongside OET preparation.
I understand the challenges of preparing for OET, and I am committed to providing comprehensive support and personalized guidance throughout the learning journey. With m我的課程內容與教學風格
I always strive to create student-centered lessons that are tailored to each individual's needs. My approach emphasizes contextualization, realistic communication, ample speaking practice, and meaningful tasks to ensure effective learning. To reinforce understanding, each lesson typically builds upon previous ones through revision activities, and homework is an essential component of the learning process.
I believe it's crucial for students to develop both accuracy and fluency in English. You can enhance your accuracy by memorizing ready-made phrases. By actively retrieving and using these phrases, you will undoubtedly become a more fluent and confident English speaker.我的教材
