My name is Abigail and I'm from Nigeria. I love learning languages, so I love to teach them. In my quest to break the language barrier between me and persons who are hearing impaired, I chose to learn sign language and integrate into the deaf community and I've made lots of friends. I use my free time to write poetry and travel around West Africa. Je m'appelle Abigail et je viens du Nigéria. Oruko mi ni Abigail, ati pe mo wa lati Naijiria. Mo feran kiko ede, nitorina mo feran lati ko awon ede. Ninu irin-ajo mi lati fọ idena ede laarin mi ati awon eniyan ti o ni ikuna igbọ, mo yan lati koye ede ami, ki n si darapọ mọ agbegbe awọn odi.

Overall successful lesson. Teacher had to reschedule a few hours before the lesson and we switched to Google Meet. Her internet connection caused a few interruptions, but we did cover material and planned for next lesson.

Abigail is a great teacher. She explains concepts slowly and clearly. She is also happy to share about deaf culture and community besides just teaching signs.

We had a fun lesson reviewing and building upon sentences from the previous lesson. We continued practicing fingerspelling which was a good challenge. I appreciate the feedback Abigail provides on facial expressions and correct grammar. 😊
