Hello! Thank you for checking out my profile. My name is Abby, but you can also call me 유나. (사실 서울에서 태어났지만 아기 때 미국에 왔어요. 현재 미국에서 살고 있어요.) So my native language is English.
I’m a professional communicator, so I understand how important it is to choose the correct words when in conversation and when we write. Let me help you build your confidence in speaking and sounding more natural.
Outside of class, I enjoy running, reading a good book, studying languages (한국어 and 中文), and spending times with friends and family. I also love watching shows like the Great British Bake Off and enjoy movies like Star Wars.我的教學經歷
🤗 I’ve always enjoyed helping others. In fact, I was voted by my classmates as a “natural helper” in elementary school.
✍️ In college, I tutored other students in their writing skills. I really enjoyed being able to help fellow classmates strengthen and grow their communication skills.
🤔 As an INFJ, I’m a naturally curious and empathic person. I love to ask questions, learn about new concepts, and listen carefully to others.

In 2021, I started learning Korean through my Korean cultural center. During class, I learned 한글, grammar, and vocabulary–but did you know what I was missing? Speaking!
Here’s some of my language learning philosophy:
🗣️ Textbooks are great guides in teaching new grammar and words, but speaking is the “glue” that will help you remember what you’ve learned from books!
👟 Language learning is a marathon, not a sprint. Together, we can build your confidence and steadily improve your speaking skills.
