Hallo :) I'm Pirmin, I was born and grew up in Germany, but lived in the Netherlands and Kenya and am now living in Belgium. I am a freelance software developer and coding tutor. I enjoy talking about different cultures, languages, self-improvement, science, psychology, entrepreneurship; or having a good discussion about any subject.
Bonjour :) Je m'appelle Pirmin, je suis originaire d'Allemagne, mais je vis maintenant en Belgique. Je suis développeur de logiciels indépendant et tuteur en codage. J'aime parler de cultures différentes, d'amélioration de soi, de science, de psychologie, d'entrepreneuriat ; ou avoir une discussion sur n'importe quel sujet.我的教學經歷
I started teaching different subjects many years ago and still do today because I very much enjoy teaching people. I grew up in Germany and completed my computer science degree there. Therefore, I can help you from not knowing a single word of German up to a very advanced academic level. I also use English every day at work and am on a near native level (C2). I also learned Dutch to a conversational level, a bit of Swahili, and am currently learning French (B1).我的課程內容與教學風格
We will focus on speaking and listening as much as possible in our lessons. From learning languages myself, I know how important it is to have comprehensible and interesting input that is appropriate for your level, as well as active retrieval practice like speaking and articulating your thoughts. This is much more effective for naturally acquiring the language as opposed to drilling grammar. If you have a specific goal like an upcoming vacation or a work topic you need to discuss, we can focus on that. I am also happy to provide you with additional materials outside our lessons.

I had another wonderful session with Pirmin. As usual, he was incredibly helpful and patient. He assisted me in finding the correct words and corrected my mistakes, which greatly improved my confidence in speaking German. Additionally, Pirmin helped me build my vocabulary related to ordering in a café, making the lesson both practical and enjoyable

Pirmi ist ein hervorragender Tutor, er hilft einem, mehr Selbstvertrauen zu entwickeln. Er ist zudem sehr hoffnungsvoll, geduldig und wartet, bis man ganze Sätze gebildet hat, um einem dann seine Vorschläge oder Korrekturen zu geben. Er ist zudem sehr proaktiv und schreibt einem nach der Stunde ein paar Nachrichten, um einem Hausaufgaben oder Tips zu empfehlen. Als neue Tutor hast du dich sehr gut geschlagen!

Me gusta porque es dinámico para enseñar y practicar conversación. Tuve inconvenientes con el audio y aún pudo esperar para practicar mi tiempo completo.
