こんにちは！ゆきです。
I'm a certified fulltime Japanese teacher.
I was born / grew up in Osaka but I've also lived in New Zealand and the UK.
I used to work at Japanese language schools so I have experience in teaching in person as well as online lessons.
My husband is British and I teach him Japanese too!
I teach grammar (complete beginner to intermediate), travel phrases, JLPT N5 and N4 preparation lessons as well as speaking lessons.

I used to be very shy but I love teaching and enjoy communicating with my students through lessons! Teaching is my passion.

Depending on your current Japanese level or demands, I change how I teach.
If you are not very confident about listening or speaking Japanese yet, I can use more English in lessons.
I am very patient as a person, and I like to giving compliments to motivate students.
I would like my students to feel relaxed in my lessons so that they can speak Japanese even more spontaneously. (If they are not feeling comfortable, it is difficult to ask questions too.)
So I always make sure my lessons are fun and not too intense :)

**I'm not trained to teach younger learners online, so if the learner is under 18 years old, I may not accept the lesson request.

ゆき先生とのフリートークレッスンでいつも気楽に喋られます。先生の発音や話し方などは非常に綺麗なので、言っている葉言はずいぶん聞き取りやすいと思います。 その上、先生のコミュニケーション能力が高いから、いつも良い話をさらさらと進むことが出来ます。

Yuki-san made me feel at easy and took her time to explain things and answer my questions. The lesson was structured well and Yuki-san made sure to focus on the relevant stuff in the textbook. ゆき先生 has been very helpful in identifying what I’ve missed or don’t really understand from learning on my own. She has been able to explain everything very thoroughly in English which is extremely helpful. Both her English and Japanese are very easy to understand and follow. Her lessons have been both very informative and fun!

Yuki Sensei is very kind and patient. She always encourages me to speak in each lesson even if it is only for a few moments. And we talk about many topics. She has helped me improve my grammar and speaking greatly.
